Lesson plan overview:

The purpose of this collaborative diversity and inclusion course is to train teachers to teach middle school students about their own cultural identities.  In the process, teachers will help students gain cognitive bias skills by recognizing everyone’s unique background.  This will help the students become more sensitive to their peers’ differences, fostering respect for everyone’s unique identities instead of rejecting them with acts of bullying.
